Care recommendations

It is important to keep your instruments in optimal condition to extend their useful life and functionality, so we suggest you take the following recommendations into account.

• Use the instruments exclusively for the function for which they were designed.
• Contaminated instruments should be disinfected and washed preferably within 2 hours of their last use
• Do not mix instruments in good condition with rusty instruments
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or metal brushes, because they can cause (among other things) damage to the protective passivation layer.
• Lubrication is important after cleaning and before sterilization. It is performed only on surgical instruments with openings or moving parts. The lubricating solution used must be water-soluble and specifically formulated for sterilization.
• When using automatic cleaning, open the branches of scissors, tweezers, and rack-and-pinion tools at a 90° angle to ensure effectiveness.
• Do the final rinse with demineralized water
• The instruments are suitable for sterilization by standard methods, but the use of a steam autoclave in a standard sterilization cycle at a temperature of one hundred and thirty-four degrees Celsius is recommended.
• It is recommended to avoid dry heat sterilizers, as this could affect the cut.
